Akira had never been particularly fond of her name. It wasn't a bad name. No, not at all. But it was just so… so comin! So worn out. She had met so many people with that name. It didn't seem like it was hers. It wasn't special.
But there was something about the way he said it. When he said it, it sounded so much different then when it was called out while the teacher took attendance, or when she was addressed by a fellow class mate, or her friends.
What was it about the way he said it that made her heart hurt?
And why was it that she loved this pain so damn much?
