One night on the ship, Tetra was in the crows nest thinking of two things: one was how incredible the night was. The wind was strong but silent, the temperature was just right, the sea was calm, with a wave height of about 4 feet. Also, the stars were all out, sparkling in the sky like diamonds on a giant ring. The moon was full and the sea sparkled perfectly. The other was Link. She loved him so much, but why on the Great Sea would he EVER love her? She was always so cruel to him, and always piled work on him. She felt a single tear slide down her cheek. "He hates me ..I will always be sad" she thought and sighed deeply as she stared at the sky.
Meanwhile, Link was in his room, playing a piano he bought at Windfall Island. He loved piano, it was one of his many talents. He also loved Tetra. "But, he thought, why would she love me? I'm just another crew member." He sighed sadly and played one of his favorite songs, Fur Elise by Ludwig Van Beethoven. He played with absolute mastery(he had persecuted all of Beethoven's songs, sonatas, and symphonies). Tetra herd his song and smiled falling into a deep trance. "Wait .tonight's the night that Haley's Comet is supposed to pass!" he said. He walked out and climbed up the ladder to the crows nest where he found his love. "Hi, Tetra." he said. She almost jumped out of her skin as she was broken from her trance. "Link, don't ever do that again!" she exclaimed. "Sorry, I came up to see the comet. Its supposed to pass the Earth tonight." then he got an idea, "Would you like to watch with me?" he asked hopefully. She blushed "Sure, I've always wanted to see it". "This will be perfect, I can reveal my love for him" she thought. He was thinking the same. They scooted close, Tetra blushed when he put his arm around her and pulled her close but soon relaxed. Then, a shooting star shower rolled over the endless sky and her beautiful ocean-blue eyes sparkled like two large sapphires. Then the comet gracefully and slowly flew by, lighting up the sky. "Quick, Link, make a wish" Tetra whispered. "I don't have to , he whispered into her ear, it already came true." She looked at him curiously. "This is it." he thought. "Umm .Tetra, there's something I want to tell you." His voice was shaking. "What is it?" she asked. "I .I ." he stuttered. "JUST SAY IT YOU FOOL!" he thought. He took in a deep breath. "I ..love you Tetra." She was shocked " ..I ..you ." she couldn't find words. He sighed sadly and was about to walk away. "Link wait!, she grabbed him, I love you to." They looked into each others eyes and slowly pulled each other into that first, deep, passionate, timeless kiss and it seemed to last forever. They snuggled into each other and watched the sun rise, a new day, and a new love was born ..
