Author's note: This is yet another result of boredom. I hope you like it.

Boom! Boom! Boom!
The sound resonated through the ocean, causing the water to ripple and create small waves. If one was a pirate, one would know the stories…one would know that this was Davy Jones at work using his beast the Kraken for taking souls.
This would strike fear into their hearts as they would fear it was they Davy Jones was after. But, the feeling it caused for the Kraken was annoyance.
"Oh, bloody 'ell! Just when I was sittin' down for some fish." The Kraken, who'd been hungry all day, grumbled.
Huffing, he hid the fish he'd caught for dinner and went to see what Davy wanted.
When he reached the surface, Davy smiled.
"It's time to be takin' Jack's soul." he told the Kraken, an evil glint in his eye.
The Kraken's black eyes widened. "Jack? Jack Sparrow?"
"Aye." Davy confirmed.
The Kraken didn't like the sounds of this. He liked Jack Sparrow! After all, he had gotten him untangled for a rather nasty net a group of other pirates had entangled him in just a few months ago.
Narrowing his eyes at Davy, he decided that this was one task he was not going to do. Instead of going off to do his bidding, the Kraken wrapped one of his huge tentacles around Davy.
"Wha' is the meanin' o' this?" Davy demanded, struggling to get free.
The Kraken didn't bother to answer. Instead, he lifted Davy above his gaping jaws and then dropped him in.
Davy's crew watched in horror as the Kraken munched thoughtfully.
"Hmm…" he muttered. "He could use some batter and lemon, but I'll not be picky."
The Kraken let out a rather loud belch. "Oh, bloody 'ell. Sorry about tha'"
The crew just stared, shocked at what had happened. This monster had just eaten their Captain!
The Kraken simply shrugged as best he could. "You're free an' all tha'" he said and then disappeared under the water, his belly full and satisfied.
