This is mostly a repository for the drabbles I tend to end up writing when I have nothing else to do and don't want to be bogged down with yet another series that I'll have trouble completing. cough So, please enjoy.

Batch 1, Drabble 1: Orphans
The six original members keep to themselves mostly. They work or talk occasionally, no more. Aside from meetings, they are never all together for anything. One or two work through any given mealtime. They work alone, train in pairs, sometimes relax with the neophytes.
Once upon a time, Even and Elaeus and Ienzo and Braig and Dilan and sometimes even Xehanort worked and learned and talked and laughed and lived together, conjoined quintuplets. They felt like best friends. They felt like brothers. They felt like a family.
So now they keep to themselves, because they don't feel like anything anymore.
Batch 1, Drabble 2: Learn from Past Mistakes
They followed Xehanort, before. He was not one of them nor did he wish to be, but he had a gift they had not. He could see a goal and know all the steps leading up to it. They were all brilliant, but he was the best. So they worked on his experiment, until the Heartless overran them.
They followed Xemnas, after. He knew what they were doing, what they must do to regain themselves. He had always been the best of them. So they obeyed his orders, until they died.
Only the very smart can be so very stupid.
Batch 1, Drabble 3: Deductive Reasoning (Notes Left on an Empty Desk)
1. Sora bears the Keyblade.
2. Roxas is Sora's Nobody.
3. Roxas can also wield Keyblades.
4. Sora spent a full year fighting Heartless.
5. Roxas does not have memories of this year.
6. Sora has two friends who accompany him.
7. Roxas does not have such friends.
8. Sora has received training in magic.
9. Roxas has not.
10. Roxas has, at various times, defeated each of us individually.
11. It is Sora, not Roxas, who is coming for us.
12. Sora wants to kill us.
13. We are facing Sora individually.
14. We are all going to die.
Batch 1, Drabble 4: Cosmetic Changes
"Where are we?"
"It doesn't look like Radiant Garden."
"Whatever it is, it's nowhere I've ever--seen… before…"
"What, Dilan?"
"Even, tell me that's really you."
"No, it's Elaeus. Who do you think it is?"
"Even?"
"What now, Braig?"
"I think I know why Dilan was confused."
"What do you--what the Hell?! I'm blond!"
"Why does my hair keep falling in my eyes?"
"Was my skin always this color?"
"Uh, Braig? Were you going grey before?"
"Was I what?!"
"Who braided my hair while I was unconscious?"
"Elaeus, your eyes used to be grey, right?"
"This is simply ridiculous."
