Percy's POV

It was almost New Year and I had to come to this boring new year party, I was talking to some friends, when they announce something.

"Who wants to sing?" the announcer said, "Hmmm…Let's see what the lights say!"

The next thing I knew was that a light was illuminating me and a girl, we started protesting until we were on stage, the Karaoke said: "SOMETHING NEW", I turned to see the girl and saw she had blond princess curls, she look like an California girl but her eyes ruin the image in a good way they were stormy gray like if they were calculating every of your movements, she seemed nervous, I was going to continue staring at her if the music hadn't start.

"Percy!" I said and smiled

"Annabeth!" She said and smiled back.

"So are you from here?" I asked her

"No, I am from San Francisco i used to live with my father but, now he remarried with Helen so i came to live with my mother, Athena, and you?" She aks

"I live with my mom, Sally, and my dad, Poseidon."I said

"Well i gotta go, nice meeting you Percy" she says

"Wait! Here give me your number" I said "So...we can talk" i smiled nervousely

She smiles back, "Okay, that's fine with me, bye" and she left
