This is set back in s3 when Davina died, however instead of Hope being a baby, she's 15 and this is a conversation between her and Marcel about Davinas death.

Marcel sipped at his drinking, trying to drown himself in alcohol after the day he just had.

He had just lost Davina again at the hands of the Mikaelsons and he was more angry than ever before.

The only thing stopping himself from killing Klaus and his dreadful family was her.

Hope.

Hope was like a sister to him and he couldn't do that to her, not again, but at the same time he couldn't face her when he was this angry at her entire family.

That's when she walked in.

"What do you want Hope?" anger already rising in him even though she didn't do anything wrong.

"Im sorry to bother you,I.. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry.. about Davina, i know how much she meant to you."

"Yeah well its been a day full of apologies" he sighed.

"I know, i just.. well.. I'm always gonna be here for you. y'know, if you ever need me."

"Are you really?" he voice grew in annoyance.

"of course Marcel i care-"

"You care? Well that's a first coming from a Mikaelson" he laughed.

"woah Marcel, this wasn't my fault, i didn't do anything to you or to Davina." Hope said her voice growing louder, almost shouting.

"Yeah, well i tell you what, your family is the reason why she is dead! Your Uncle Kol killed her himself-"

"No..no Kol wouldn't do that, Davina was his girlfriend" Hope said with certainty.

"You know what, you just like your dad, just like the rest of your family, defend your own at all cost even though none of them are innocent! what was the saying again, always and forever was it?"

Hope couldn't even reply before Marcel started again.

"Oh, and it wasn't even just Kol, after he killed her the one chance i had to bring her back was ruined, you dear Aunt Freya and Uncle Elijah killed her again, giving me no chance to bring her back, oh and your parents? they didn't even try to stop them!"

"Marce-"

"No Hope, its not fair! You whole family owe Davina but instead killed her, i suppose that what you get if you get to close to the Mikaelsons.. oh and you know what? they did it all for you, for your safety, to protect you! so yeah i guess it is your fault!"

"Marcel.. I..I dont know what to say" hope whispered, almost crying.

"Don't bother" and with that he walked out of the room, leaving hope helpless and confused.
