Just some flufffff that I wrote for Zutara Week and forgot to put up...yea I know how late it is!!

I DON'T OWN ME NO AVATAR.

Inhale, Exhale. Simple tasks of life were magnified in sound in the quiet field above the temple. There sat Zuko and Katara, alone. Katara had a dandelion in her hair, and was lying with her head next to Zuko's. He was lying the opposite way, and was twisting a strand of her hair on his index finger. She turned her head so that her lips were just touching his ear.

"So when did you realize that you loved me?" She whispered. Zuko sighed and his lips twitched.

"I think it was back in Ba Sing Se, maybe when you touched my scar. And then, when my sister entered the picture, I became so confused that I put aside my feelings for you, just like I put aside all that I had learned about good judgement. It was--"

"The stupidest decision you ever made…yes I know." She ruffled his hair "And I totally agree with you"

She smiled slightly and turned her head away from him.

"But you know, when I first saw you, in the South Pole, I thought you were beautiful. Took me a while to realize how much, but you were striking."

"Mmmm" Katara blushed deeply. She rose into a sitting position. "So we've covered the looks, but how about personality?"

"Personality…There is a lot to admire about your personality. Your kind, thoughtful, dedicated, strong willed…"

Katara plucked the dandelion from her hair and blew the seeds into the wind.

"You also have…a certain way with people…"

"Explain…" She said, with one eyebrow lifted slightly above the other.

"I dunno, you've got a way of making people do things the way you want to do them. Your controlling in that way, I guess…you are…"

"Manipulative?" She giggled again and plucked a second dandelion from the grass. She blew the seeds into his face. Zuko furrowed his eyebrows and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Manipulative, that's the word! And I admire that about you…except when…"

"When what?"

"When you manipulate…me, I guess…I don't like being handled." Zuko responded with a child-like innocence. Katara laughed out loud.

"But you can't help it, can you? You are drawn to me…" Zuko arose to a sitting position and was face to face with a pair of big blue eyes.

"See! You're doing it!"

"What? You can't blame me for being myself! Afterall…" She leaned in to close the gap, plucking another dandelion from the grass. "Isn't that why you fell in love with me in the first place?"

Zuko snatched the flower from her and blew the seeds in her face. "Yea, I guess."

Katara ruffled his hair. "You know, I'm not sure I'm even in love with you. In fact, I don't like you."

Zuko placed his hand on her cheek. "Hah! You can't keep your hands off of me…I guess you could say that you're…drawn to me." He kissed her passionately, and he could feel her smiling on his lips.

She pulled away and tugged on his ear with her two fingers.

"Okay. I can see how that could get annoying."
