It's a warm, sunny day in Ponyville. The Pegasi cleared out all the clouds today, so it's super-duper sprinkle-lishes sunny out! I could tell it would be a super-fantastically fun-alishious day!
The sun reflected off of Twilight's brand new crystal-looking castle. I bounce through Town Square, looking for something fun to do. As usual, I feel like I'm on a sugar high, but I'm used to it.
As I'm bouncing, I accidentally crash into a pony. But something about this pony seemed...familiar.
"CHEESE SANDWICH!" I scream with delight, embracing my friend in a super-duper tight bear hug, "You're back! I'm so so so so SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to see you!"
"I'm glad to see you too, Pinkie Pie," Cheese said, smiling. He turned to the rubber chicken that was riding on his back in a saddle, "Isn't that right, Boneless Two?" Boneless squeaked slightly as his head tilted to the side.
"AWWWW!" I cry out happily, "I missed you, too! So, what brings you here, Cheese? There's no parties happening anytime soon."
Cheese, for some reason, blushed slightly as he dug in the dirt with his hoof. "Well, frankly, I came here to see, well...you, Pinkie," he said, his cheeks starting to look more like my fur.
"Really?" I ask, surprised, "Why? I mean, why just me and not all my friends?"
"Well, cuz...," Cheese looked like he couldn't find the right words for whatever he wanted to say, "I...well, I just couldn't get you off my mind..." He blushed even deeper.
"Cheese, what's wrong?" I ask, a little worried, "You're cheeks are pinker than my room!" I giggle slightly.
"Well, it's just...," Cheese sighed and looked up at me, "Pinkie there's something I gotta tell you. Something extremely important."
"What is it?" I ask.
"Well, I've been wanting to say this for a while," Cheese explained, "And, well, I guess I'm a little...embarrassed."
"What is it?" I repeated, "You can tell me anything. I won't judge."
"Promise?" Cheese asks.
"Cross my heart," I recite, crossing my hoof over my heart, "and hope to fly," I flap my arms like Pegasi wings, "stick a cupcake in my eye!" I close my eye and put my hoof over my right eye, smiling.
"Ok," Cheese sighed, looking up at me again, "Pinkie, I've traveled across Equestria, met the funniest ponies, even met a pony with rainbow colored fur," Cheese looked at me, his eyes wide, "But I've never met a pony as amazing as...you."
My already bunny-fast heart skips a beat then speeds up even more at that last part. Did...did Cheese Sandwich...like me?!
"Wait wait wait wait wait," I say, shaking my head faster than you could say...um...something, "Do...do you...like me?!"
"Y-yeah," Cheese says, looking back at the ground.
"Oh, WOW!" I exclaim with joy, "THAT'S SO COOL! I've always felt like I like you too, but I wasn't sure if you liked me back, and I was so nervous to tell you!" I talk extremely quickly, my words a blur as they leave my mouth.
"Wait, so...you like me too?!" Cheese exclaimed, his eyes glowing with joy, "Oh, WOW! This is the coolest thing that's ever happened to me!"
"Me too!" I yell, bouncing around in circles, "I'm just so so so so so so so SOOOOO HAPPY!" I reach over and kiss Cheese on the cheek, making him freeze up. I giggle as he slowly starts to smile, until he jumps up and yells "YAHOO!" bucking Boneless Two off his back.
