Echoing footsteps, lonely in the empty hallway…
A silhouette appears…
Cold, green eyes, glisten in the shadows…
"Are you scared?"
A frown descends his face.
Pale, flawless skin…
Cyan lines run down his eyes, as if he were crying…
"I don't understand you humans…" He says.
"You people always talk about your hearts. As if it is on your very hand.
But my eye is all-seeing. Nothing can escape it…"
His hand comes out of hiding and reaches out to her chest.
"What is a heart? If I open your chest, will I find it there?
If I crack open your skull, will I find it there?
…
Moments later, before he fades from existence…
He reaches out to her once again…
"Are you scared, women?"
She replies with a solemn no, and reaches out to touch his hand,
On her own free will…
They barely touch until it disintegrates into the air.
His eyes widen from realization….
"Oh, I get it now…"
"In my hand…this is…"
Heart….?

Well, I had an obsession over Ulquiorra Cifer from Bleach for some time. I was sad when he died. Though, he died a great death…
And has finally gained his heart in the very end…
