Summary: The Joker meant what he said.
Celebrity
What would you do if you met the person you admired most?
It is a ha-ha-hard question to an-swer, ya know. Think about it, slick-uh. It's a, uh, rather tricky question.
The moment comes and you're frozen, all the words in your head rush outwards like blood gushing from an open wound, and it happens in nanoseconds. You find it hard to say what you really want to say, your breath comes in short spurts….
Ya just get your brrr-eath taken away. Ha ha brrr-eath. Reminds me of death. No-ooo breeeeath means death. You're like death, Batsy.
That's what it's like when the Joker met the Batman. The breath was taken right out of him. He had met his equal.
"You know, I think we're destined to do this forever…"
Arkham couldn't keep him locked up forever. Not while Batman was free and on his own. With. Out. Him.
I meant what I said-uh. It's not the end, Batsy.
The piece of glass silently slid against the guard's gullet. The blood dripped beautifully (so b-e-a-uuuutiful) down his chin in a black trail that would've glittered had there been any light in the sparse corridor. The guard's last sigh was hidden by the Joker's hand as, with an almost soundless clink, the keys slid off the belt.
It is going to be Soooo. Much. Fun.
Maniacal laughter echoed off the halls, harmonized by the screams of other inmates slipping further into madness.

Author's Note: Been wanting to write something about the Joker since I first saw him on screen by the always captivating Heath Ledger. That, combined with a very recent conversation with a friend about – you guessed it – what you would say to the person you admired most, became this.
Musical Credits: Breath by Breakin Benjamin.
