A/N: This is my first SONGFIC so please consider that while reading it. Warning; Character Death, I added a few more deaths to make it more realistic, Spoilers, and miss-usage of the song.

Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters from Harry Potter- J.K Rowling does, nor do I make any money from this story. Also, I don't own the song Octopus's Garden by the Beatles, written by Ringo Starr.

I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus's garden in the shade
He'd let us in, knows where we've been
In his octopus's garden in the shade

Harry sat at the edge of the lake, staring into the depths of the water. He knew the Giant Squid lay somewhere beneath the surface and often wondered what it would be like, just to hide within the lake not having to face the troubles and overwhelming guilt that bestowed him.

I'd ask my friends to come and see
An octopus's garden with me
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus's garden in the shade

What was the point of fighting for the Greater Good when so many innocent souls had died? He mentally ticked off all the people who had died just so he could defeat Voldemort; Cedric, Remus, Sirius, Mom, Dad, Snape, Fred, Mad-Eye, Dumbledore, Ron, Hermione, Colin, Dennis, Dean…

We would be warm below the storm
In our little hideaway beneath the waves
Resting our head on the sea bed
In an octopus's garden near a cave

Everyone could ignore his depression and miserable behaviour. They could all think what they want, that he was going through a phase, it'll pass, he just wants attention. They could care less that every day his heart got a little colder and his will to live slowly diminished.

We would sing and dance around
Because we know we can't be found
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus's garden in the shade

How great would it be to be able to see his parents again? Here he was, sitting alone in front of the lake. No one could stop him, or give him pathetic excuses as to why he shouldn't. All he had to do was walk into the lake and gravity would do the rest.

We would shout and swim about
The coral that lies beneath the waves
Oh what joy for every girl and boy
Knowing they're happy and they're safe

They didn't need him anymore; everyone was happy and free of evil. The Boy-Who-Lived stood up, took off his outer robe and his shoes and dipped his feet in the water. It was cold. Perfect.

We would be so happy you and me
No one there to tell us what to do
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus's garden with you
In an octopus's garden with you
In an octopus's garden with you

He looked into the water and started waddling deeper and deeper till he was on his tip-toes. Looking back to the castle he called home, he silently asked forgiveness for not being strong enough.

I'm Sorry

Review! It'd be much appreciated.
