From Afar
If I could tell her how beautiful she is and see her smile that genuine smile, then I'll be happy. But the most I can do is watch her from afar…
I first saw her on television.
She was kissing a skull. Her adorable eyes were wide with surprise.
I knew her school, so I hacked into the database and found her.
Nakahara Sunako. Age fifteen. Five foot, one inch in height. Freshman student at Morii High School.
I watched her from afar, doing what I can to keep her safe.
Even if I couldn't be with her personally, I sometimes feel as though I can reach her.
Maybe that red string of love thing was real…
I doubt it…
There was only one time I came across her in person.
It was almost Christmas and I had to get out of the Headquarters. I just walked around a shopping district and found her shopping for her roommates.
"I'm a bit limited on money," she said to the vender. "Maybe next time," she answered. Her face was frowning.
"Are you sure, Scary Girl?"
"Yes—"
"I'll pay it for her," I said, coming towards them.
She glanced at me, shocked. "I can't accept it," she said, waving me off.
"Don't stop me," I snapped. "You want to buy the crab, right?"
She nodded.
I paid the vender and she took the crab.
"I can't repay you enough," she said with a smile.
It was enough for me.
"It's fine. I don't expect any repayment," I told her. That smile is enough for me. "You know," I said. "You're rather cute."
She frowned. "No, I'm just scary. Thank you, anyway." She turned and walked down the street.
"Maybe you'll believe me someday, Sunako-chan," I muttered softly.
I returned to the Headquarters, feeling much more light hearted.
It was enough—watching her from afar.
yes. L is so a stalker. Don't argue with me on this--you know he is, deel down. XD
