It started out as a feeling
Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word

And then that word grew louder and louder
'Til it was a battle cry
I'll come back
When you call me
No need to say goodbye

Gregor kissed Luxa good-bye and climbed out into the park. Then she backed down a few steps and they held each other's gaze until Gregor's dad slid the rock in place, parting them forever.

Just because everything's changing
Doesn't mean it's never been this way before
All you can do is try to know who your friends are
As you head off to the war

Gregor couldn't believe it. After all these years, here she was again. "L-L-Luxa?" he whispered. He sprinted as fast as he could to the spot where he saw her. She saw him. "The stars...I can't believe all the light in this world."

"You're the only light in my world," Gregor responded.

Pick a star on the dark horizon
And follow the light
You'll come back when it's over
No need to say goodbye

You'll come back when it's over
No need to say goodbye

"I love you, Luxa," Gregor said.

"I love you too, Gregor," whispered Luxa.

The moonlight lit their faces as they embraced, forgetting all their troubles, forgetting ten years of each other's absence, as if they'd never really left.

Which, if you think about it, they never did.

Now we're back to the beginning
It's just a feeling and no one knows yet
But just because they can't feel it too
Doesn't mean that you have to forget

Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
'Til they're before your eyes
You'll cone back
When they call you
No need to say goodbye

"So this is it?" asked Luxa.

"I believe so," said Gregor.

Luxa nodded. "Well then, I'm ready if you are," she said.

And straightening her back, she followed Gregor into the darkness of New York City, waiting for a new life. The Underland was dead.

Love wasn't.

You'll come back
When they call you
No need to say goodbye
