this is my addition to the Doctor Who Valentines Day stories I'm sure are out there. I may write anther chapter, but for now it is just one chapter complete. I just need to think of how to work it in. hope you all enjoy. Have a great Valentines Day.
A Little Pink Box
Rose came walking out of her bedroom, wearing her pink pajamas because she was getting ready for bed, but that process was halted surprisingly when she found something on her bed that hadn't been there before they left a planet she couldn't remember the name of, it was something like Trayrosic or some other big word like that. The Doctor had loved being there it was full of vivid colors and bands everywhere, whenever they turned a corner there was a new group or orchestra playing, It was magical.
Now they found themselves moving through space in the vortex, the Doctor was reading a thick brown book in the library, Rose silently opened the door. She didn't think she could ever spook him until he jumped out of his chair dropping the book on the ground " Doctor?" Rose asked still with her hands behind her back.
The Doctor looked up at Rose, picking up the book from the ground " yes Rose, did you need something " he asked removing his glasses and putting them in the inside pocket of his jacket.
" Well…" Rose started a small secret smile crossing her features " I was getting ready for bed when I looked on my bed and found this " she said pulling the small pink box out from behind her back.
The Doctor smiled, " I got that for you in a small market around the corner from where we found that band that only played 21 century ballads. I really hated that band by the way. It is a present for Valentines day or at least its Valentines day back on earth" the Doctor stopped speaking feeling a blush creep over his cheeks at having admitted to getting Rose a present.
"I didn't know you followed Earth holidays Doctor " Rose said looking down at the box, fingering the ribbon.
" Weelll I thought I should do something nice for you, since you put up with me putting you in danger on a daily basis. Which I never mean to do " he said smiling, he never meant to put her in danger it just kind of followed them.
Rose chuckled " it does at that " she slowly moved the lid off the small box and her eyes widened in surprise " Doctor that's beautiful, thank you " she had lifted out a silver necklace with a pink jewel dangling in the center.
Rose was beaming as the Doctor moved around to place the necklace around her neck. He knew she'd love it, he
had tried so hard to surprise her and it worked, which was never an easy feat to do because she was Rose Tyler Daughter of Jackie Tyler one of the most frustrating woman on earth, Which translating into being hard to shop for.
He slowly moved the levers and pushed buttons while keeping an eye on Rose as she sat in the jump seat admiring the necklace.
The TARDIS materialized on a hilltop over looking a beautiful sunset in Italy. This was one of the rare moments for them where there was no running or aliens. It was just them.
It was a perfect moment for them both as they sat on The Doctors coat and watched the sunset; a day neither of them would forget for a long time.
