Time Well Spent
Chapter 1 Discovery
Gohan and Piccolo had just finished their training for the day and Gohan was flying home when he realized there was a vague power source not too far away. He knew it was human so it couldn't be Vegeta or Trunks, besides Vegeta was away on a training spree and Bulma would never let Trunks out alone.
Since he couldn't figure out who it was he decided to go take a look. He was halfway there when he felt the power start fading quickly. Gohan picked up speed and after he made sure no one else was around he went Super Saiyan and flew low so that his chest brushed the tree tops. He got there in record time.
When he arrived he saw a young girl who had obviously held her own for a little while before whatever had attacked her had decided to get serious. Gohan wondered why it had attacked her but didn't kill her. 'Maybe he sensed my power,' he thought.
She was injured pretty badly so Gohan decided to take her to Bulma's. It was closer and Chi-Chi would probably freak out if her brought a strange girl home. And since Vegeta wasn't home there shouldn't be a problem. Chi-Chi couldn't fly either so he wouldn't get caught.
When Gohan arrived at Bulma's Trunks came running out to greet him.
"Come back Trunks!" Bulma was yelling but Trunks paid her no attention. Then she recognized Gohan. "Oh hi Gohan. Who's your friend?"
"Actually I don't know myself." Gohan was looking down at the still unconscious girl in his arms. Bulma picked up Trunks and set him in a chair on the porch.
"So what can I do for you and your mystery girl Gohan?"
"Do you happen to have any spare Senzu beans?"
"I don't know, let me check. Come on in she has to be getting heavy." Bulma grabbed Trunks and headed in. Gohan followed. "You can lay her on the couch."
"I don't know Bulma she's hurt pretty bad," he pointed out.
"Okay you can hold her if you want. I'll go look for some Senzu beans. You just wait here."
All right."
'She really is kinda cute,' he thought before realizing there was something sticking out of her pocket. He shifted weight on to his other arm and pulled the little peice of paper out. It was a note.

Find the ones named Goku and Gohan. They will help you on your mission.
After Gohan had read the note he felt guilty but at the same time curious. What mission, he wondered.
"Gohan I'm back it turns out I had a few hidden in case Vegeta blows up the GT again and hurts himself."
"Thanks Bulma, these should really help (once she regains consciousness)."
"No problem, I have something that should wake her up quick. It's something else I figured Vegeta-" they heard a blast and a scream from outside "or Trunks will need sooner or later." They heard another blast.
"Probably sooner," they said at the same time.
