AN: This has been sitting on my hard drive for a few months, and I've finally decided to upload it. A short comedic piece on how I feel Rin would react in Academy City.

Tohsaka Rin glared petulantly at the Level 5 as she patiently explained for the eighth time about how her powers worked.

"I keep telling you, it's how espers have had powers ever since the origination of the Power Curriculum Program and Academy City!" Misaka Mikoto exasperatedly told the young magus. "Each esper uses a variety of techniques and chemicals in order to attain their own Personal Reality, which then replaces the normal reality through AIM dispersion fields, granting us powers that defy such reality!"

"That's just not possible! If it was, Reality Marbles would be more prevalent than to have been acquired by only six humans in recorded history!" Rin hotly retorted, very much annoyed by the rules of the world her teacher had placed her in. "Replacing reality with your own rules like that shouldn't be possible without the exertion of all the energy of twenty people! At a minimum!"

"No, espers have been doing this for at least twenty years, and it's worked for just as long!" the esper exploded, having run out of patience to deal with the stubborn girl she spoke to.

The two tsunderes glared at each other, lightning crackling between their eyes.

They spoke simultaneously-

"Gandr!"

"Railgun!"

From Rin's finger shot a ball of mystical energy, filled to such capacity as to effect the physical world, a Finn Shot, formed with the intent of reducing the Level 5's health, while an arcade coin was simultaneously launched at one-thousand-and-thirty meters per second from the Railgun's hand. The two projectiles impacted each other, causing a large shockwave, before dropping inertly to the ground.

"Very well, I will accept that your abilities are as impossible in my world as my magic is an impossiblity in your world," Rin sniffed magnanimously.

"Are you just using formal language to say that we're agreeing to disagree?" Mikoto sweatdropped.

"Yes."

And that was the end of their meeting, as Zelretch had decided to abruptly drag the unfortunate black haired girl into another world.
