After spending all day at the mall, I came home to a dark, empty house. No lights, no music, no Chloe. Strange. Chloe always sends me a text if she's going out. I put the bags down and turn on the lamp. That's when I heard it, her soft, heavenly voice humming. It's coming from the bathroom, where there is just a glimmer of light shining under the door. Walking over to bathroom, I can hear the splashing of the water.

Knock, knock!

Suddenly everything was quiet.

"Hey, babe." Chloe's sweet voice was heard from the other side of the door.

Beca grinned widely.

"Chlo…Were you just humming The Little Mermaid?" Beca was teasing. "Ariel, do you need saving?"

"Very funny Mitchell. Are you Sebastian or Flounder?" Chloe giggled.

"You enjoying your bath?"

"It's aca-awesome!" Chloe squealed.

"Can I join you?"

Chloe was silent for a minute before she answered. "Of course you can, if you can find me?"

Beca shook her head in confusion until she gripped the doorknob and slowly opened the door. She received a strong sweet scent of strawberry shampoo and soap. The room was hot and steamy…looking at the tub, all she could see were mounts of bubbles, tall like hills in the mountains. Chloe wasn't visible at all.

Beca grinned harder. She shut the door behind her and walked over to the tub.

"Chloe, we were just talking…where are you?"

Everything was still and silent.

"Oh, I get it. Hey Ariel, you're the mermaid submerged under water. I thought you were human, didn't know you could really breath under water."

Chloe was giggling when she surfaced, wiping bubbles from her eyes.

"Heeyyy, that's not fair!" Chloe pouted. "I could've stayed under there longer if you didn't make me laugh."

Beca was staring at the beautiful girl. "You know…you look really sexy right now like that…"

Chloe raised her eyebrows. She scrunched her nose, shaking her head.

"Sorry babe…there's no room for your sweaty, dirty ass right now!"

"What?! Oh really…you are so asking for trouble now Beale!" Beca was making her way over to the bath. Chloe squealed and splashed water at Beca.

"Hey! You splashed soap in my eyes! Beca rubbed her face like she was injured.

Chloe grinned. She knew Beca too well that she was faking.

"Awww, I'm sorry baby…let me kiss it and make it better."

Beca moved slowly, closer to Chloe until she stood next to the tub. In a snap, Chloe lunged forward grabbing Beca's ass, pulling her in the water as she cried out and a huge splash, landed on top of Chloe.

"What the hell Chlo…I'm all wet and the floor is flooded" She tried scolding her while laughing.

Nothing else was said when Chloe cut her off with a kiss. The wet clothes and wet floor was all forgotten as Beca was lost kissing Chloe back.
