She should just let him go. She twirled the red rose over and over in her hands, feeling the soft petals touching her fingers. But at the same time, a part of her didn't want to let him go, it was as though something was telling her to go after him, to go and make things right.
Could she bring herself to do it? Could she bring up the courage to mend her shattered heart? To pick up the broken pieces?
She felt warm, strong arms wrap around her and a gentle kiss was placed upon her cheek. At once, she knew who these arms belonged to and softly she asked him.
"Why have you come back?"
"To mend your heart," He replied.
