Summary: "This is it," Tony thinks, fingering the small box in his pocket, "This is the question for a lifetime of marriage." TIVA - Proposal fic. Sequel to "Love Led Us Here" but can easily be read as a stand along.

A/N- Short sequel to "Love Led Us Here", a song fic I had written a while ago. This is the non-song fic sequel to it, the proposal :) Oh, another note: Due to a not-so-nice review, I'm making it clear... OOC warning! But then again, it's a fluffy fic with romance-y goodness...

Fingering the special package in his pocket Tony led Ziva down the path, turning onto the wooden dock. Stopping at the railing, Ziva leaned into him, watching the sun set, casting pink and gold ribbons in the sky.
It had been just over three years since the day Ziva had been rescued from Somalia. Since then their relationship had blossomed, becoming stronger and stronger every day.
This is it, Tony thought. Now is the time.
"Sweet cheeks?"
"Yes my beautiful hairy butt?" She replied, turning to him, smiling.
"I love you."
Her smile grew, "I love you too."
Dropping to one knee, he continued, "Zee, when you left NCIS, I lost it. I thought I had lost you. You complete me and make me a better man then I ever thought I could be. You are so beautiful, so amazing. You are the gift that makes all the terrible things in my life worthwhile. Just by existing, you make me believe in life and happy endings."
Opening the small box, showing her the ring, Tony paused, holding his breath, waiting for the answer. He had done it, he had asked the question that would lead to a lifetime of marriage.
Ziva's face broke out into smile, the soft hue of the sunset illuminating her face, "Yes!"
"Really?" Tony grinned.
"YES! I will marry you!"
Tony slipped the ring on her finger, getting to his feet. Ziva launched herself at him in a hug that rivaled Abby's.
Filling the space between their faces, they pressed their lips to each other in a kiss full of passion.
Finally breaking apart after many minutes, when oxygen became necessary, they began walking back on the path. Ziva, still beaming, finally got a chance to fully look at the ring. It was a beautiful silver engagement band, with one large diamond in the center, with a smaller one on each side. Noticing something on the underside of it, Ziva moved it off, looking at the inscription underneath: A Love So Strong That Nothing Can Destroy It
A/N- Well I hope you liked it. Again, it didn't turn out the way I wanted, but I think it was pretty good.
I might do another sequel to the "Love so Strong" Series (I decided on naming it and actually calling it a series) about the wedding. The Letters (from the "Undying love series") is another Tiva series, so I might not do another sequel for this one, since both will have the wedding, but I'm not sure yet. Depends on what inspiration comes first.
