6 years after the war

Clary's in the infirmary 9 months pregnant waiting to give birth to her second child. Jace pacing around the room was not making it better since her first birth definitely didn't go without complications.

"Jace, pacing around the room is not helping anybody and it's starting to get annoying", said Clary trying not to yell at him.

Jace walked over to Clary grabbing her hand "I'm sorry it's just that I don't want what happened last time to happen this time because I would have died if something really did happen last time you know that right", he said with his gold eyes staring straight into her emerald ones which made her so entranced that all she could do was nod. The whole moment ended when Clary almost broke Jace's hand from a contraction, and the doctors telling her that she was ready to push on the next one.

~~Time Jump~~

"Okay, Clary we have the head one more push and you've got yourself a new baby boy of girl, got it", Clary looked at the doctor and nodded. As soon as she felt that pain she was pushing as hard as she could and squeezing Jace's hand that he would have to iratze again. When everything in her mind going from being in pain, to hearing her baby, she began to cry tears of joy.

"You guys have got yourself a beautiful baby girl to take care of for the rest of your life", the doctor said while cleaning her up. As soon as he was done Jace was out the door getting there 5 year old son to come see his baby sister. The doctor brought Clary her new born baby just as Jace was walking in with their son Micheal. Clary was staring down at her new baby girl and comparing her to her son, because her daughter had a scruff of golden hair just like her father while her son had a full head of red hair like her, but her got Jace's golden eyes and she was just anticipating the reveal of her daughter's eyes and as if on cue they opened to reveal a huge and bright green emerald eyes.

"She looks just like you Clare", Jace responded looking awestruck while holding their son in his arms.

"Mommy, Mommy can I see her, please, please, please", Clary looked at her son and gave a small laugh and gestured for him to come sit next to her which he gladly did, but after a while Jace said something to interrupt the moment.

"Okay I know you both love the child, but I mean I am her father and I would like to hold her if that's okay with everyone here", Jace said with a sarcastic look on his face, while Clay looked at him and laughed as she handed her daughter to the man she loved. The doctor walked in with a smile on his face and asked the question they were most excited for.

"So what will this lovely little girl be named", he said and I looked at Jace.

"Can you get get everyone so the can be here", she asked and without saying anything Jace was out the door getting everybody.

"Were here", everybody said in unison looking at Clary with an excited face while Jace walked back over to stand with his family.

"Okay everybody we would like to introduce you to Emerald Isabelle Herondale", she said as she looked at Isabelle who had the biggest smile on her face and ran up to the two and gave them each a hug and took a peak at their new sleeping baby. After that they all rushed to her side and gave out hugs while they all took turns holding the newborn baby.

"I love you so much Clary you know that right", Jace said with a smile on his face looking down at her.

She smiled at that and responded, "You tell me everyday, and I love too, always have and always will and you remember that", she said as she leaned up to give him kiss and he nodded.
