Did that really just happen?

When I meet the Doctor
Once I prove I've flown

The only friend I've ever known

By my skills he won't be blinded!

Or like Slitheen, so small-minded?

Once I'm with the Doctor

Aliens think you're strange
No Dalek will stand up to you
Green creatures will run away
And Cybermen will quiver
As they stare at you in dismay
And this gift or this curse that I have inside
Maybe at last I'll know why
When we are hand in hand

One day he'll say to me, "Jack, my boy –
A boy who is so inferior
Shouldn't a boy who's mortal outside
Have a matching interior?
And since folks here to an absurd degree
Seem fixated on my legitimacy
Would it be all right by you
If I de-immortalize you?"

That was my little… spoof of The Wizard and I from the musical Wicked – which I absolutely adore, but don't own. I don't own Doctor Who either, but to my intense pain. ;)
