Sunflower Kingdom: The lost Queen
Yearning for sunlight and warmth
Blooming in the day and sleeping in the night
growing with love and kindness throughout the land
it is the sunflower
The queen radiates the flower itself while being protected and cared for by the king
But what happens if the queen was stolen?
Turned mortal?...What would the king do without her...
In another world, is a vast land of sunflowers, the village used this flower to represent the sun and their queen who gives the land the warmth and kindness they need. And in the distance next to the mountain, was the kingdom of King Klaus, he was married to the queen, he kept her safe and protected, but he did not keep her caged, he'd send escorts to follow and guard the queen wherever she went. Inside the palace, the queen was planning to visit the festival going on in the town, just a few miles away, "Please be safe my dear" said Klaus, "I will, I promise I'll be back after the festival..." said the queen, she was not some woman, in fact, the royal couple was as young as a 15 and 16 year old, the king smiled a little and kissed her forehead, "Be safe Phoenix..." he watched as his queen got on the carriage decorated with gold and bronze towards the town nearby.
"Are you excited your highness?" asked a maid in the carriage, "Yes, but drop the formalities please, I may be queen but I'm just like the rest of you" said Phoenix, the maid just turned bashful and avoided eye contact which made her giggle a bit, after an hour of riding, the coachman stopped in front of the town. Villagers were scrambling on and about in their business, people buying food and jewels from the market stalls, children playing and laughing at the performers and clowns. Phoenix took a deep breath and stepped out the carriage, and once she was in the village, most of them stared at her and began whispering that the queen was here and how they were trying to contain their excitement, until one boy offered her a small sunflower with a blue ribbon, "I-it's for you, i-it's small but i wanted to give this to you" he said in a nervous voice, Phoenix took the flower and kissed the boy's forehead and said a formal thank you.
Soon the villagers wanted to chat with the queen, which she gladly agreed to, she then saw three girls placing dyed sunflowers on their hair, she noticed the girls walk toward her, "Your highness~ May we style your hair? it's long and pretty~" one of them said, "Okay...if you say so" She said, the girls sat behind her, tying her hair in a braid along with putting colorful sunflowers, making her more beautiful than ever, she thanked the girls and went along with her way. She was enjoying her time in the festival, not noticing a cloaked figure watch her every move, soon the festival ended and then the queen rode home.
At the castle, Klaus was busy reading a book, "Sir, the queen has arrived..." announced his butler, he quickly placed his book down and rushed to the door, but what he saw made him go pink, his queen had colorful sunflowers around her braided hair, she looked at him with a cute confused face, "Klaus?...is something the matter?", "U-uh! No...nothing... Just surprised" he looked away and covered his cheeks. "Oh I see! I'll be in the bedroom now, I'm a bit tired" she walked to the bedroom but not without giving him a good night kiss which made him blush harder, as soon as she was out of sight, Klaus covered his face and hunkered into a ball rolling around which made the servants look at him weirdly and some panicking reminding him that his coat might get dirty.
