Family can be lots of many difrent things, even peolpe who arent blood related to you.
And thats what today was all about, it was christmas and Tom was spending it with Marco, his family and Star because they didn't have christmas in underworld and Star had insisted that Tom needed to get presents and family time even if he had anger outbursts randomly now and then.
Tom was just really confuzed of what was going on, the house was decorated with lots of difrent colours and glitter and there also was lots of presents and tons of food.
''Soo whats the deal here really?''
''Oh Tom, the deal is that you get presents, eat untill you can no more and spent time with your family!''
''Yea Tom, you are part of the family now. Come and help us put the last decorations to the tree!''
''Okay I guess- wait. Did you say I'm part of the family now?''
''Yyeees thats what I just said isnt it?''
Toms face lit up, he was part of the family, it ment that he had friends now, actual friends and they had forgave him for what hes done in the past and that he sometimes gets angry and burns things, it was nice.
They spent all day having fun together, Marco had even gotten a present for Tom so he wouldnt feel left out and feel more like a family, they ate, palyed some fun board games and watched movies. When the night fell Tom had gotten promission to stay the night from his mom, he didnt tell his dad where he was cause he didn't really like Star or Marco.
''Soo that's what christmas is..''
''Yea! Wasnt it fun?!''
''It was fun. Are we gonna do something now or just leep?''
''Sleepover!''
''Star no. We just get some sleep now.''
''But Marco Tom has never had a sleepover before!''
''S-Star!''
''Is that true Tom?''
Tom blushed and nodded slightly in shame and Marco sighed.
''Fine. One movie and snacks. Then we sleep.''
''And some truth or dare!''
''Whats that?''
''Oh Tom, you have lots to learn about sleepovers...''
In the underworld Toms dad was watching over Tom and the other trough a portal.
''Are you sure this is fine? I don't want him to get hurt. Star has hurt him before and so has that boy...''
He sighed and looked at his wife nodding and he sighed.
''Okay, if you say so, I trust you love. Tomorrow when he comes back we can have some family time, Ive watched them long enough to know about these festivities. We could do it too!''
He got really exited about it and they sepent the rest of the evening planning things for when Tom would come back down.
