mystery in the locked room
the strange turnabout
phoenix was in wright and co lawyer offices and he got some mail saying new murder happened now
phoenix went to crime scene, locked door from inside with key inside bucket of acid cheese book next to wall and locked boarded up window
phoenix went to courtroom number 6 to defend someone
at the trial miles tried to prove that the defendant was gumshoe was the killer who killed him after he broke down the door when he discovered the crime because the autopsy report said time of death was right before discovery but phoenix updated the autopsy report which pissed edgeworth off because he did that once
the new autospy report said the victim died in the morning not at night like miles suggested this was good for his client but edgeworth asked "how do we know if the door was locked at that time" so gumshoe came and said it was locked cause he checked, but miles thought this meant he knew because he locked it after killing him but phoenix pointed out the door was locked from in it
edgeworth was confused because noone could have killed him the window wasnt an escape is possible exit so phoenix turned it around by revealing the killer didnt leave
they searched the scene and found a dead body of a man wearing gloves under the floor boards but phoenix proved it wasnt him because his autopsy said he died before their victim so it must have been someone else
but they checked under the bed and there was no monster under there so phoenix revealed the evidence of the killer was the cheese and that the killer was in the acid after the killer fell in
the killer is a mouse it got in through the mouse hole but it couldnt escape because after biting the victims chest killing him he dropped a book over the mouse hole so it could do nothing except run around until it fell into the acid and disappeared
the evidence was the cheese cause mice eat cheese, the motive was he wanted to eat the dead victim in the floor who died before
the defendant was not guilty and phoenix gumshoe celebrated that day
