after phoenix solved the murder with the mouse he relaxed in bed but it wasnt long before fate called him once again
gumshoe came in and told him maya was arrested again and he asked why to learn that is was another murder in a locked room
they went back to the locked room it was the same one from before because there was another death in there and it was the death of turner grey who was killed by mimi miney but examination proved that it was impossible for mimi to kill grey because the door was locked
they opened the floor because turners body had been hidden under the floorbored and the autopsy guys examined it again and they found something they didnt notice before because the body got stolen before they could it was a splitner
"what could a string be for" asked phoenix
"by the way pal we found an exit its the chimney but its impossible to climb up so it doesnt count but someone could use it to get in" said gumshoe
the trial began and edgeworth made his opening statement
"the crime happened in the same locked room as last time this time it was grey who got killed i am sorry to say i present the rock that killed his head" said edgeworth
edgeworth called his witness who was a toy trilo quist
trilo said he was looking through the bedroom window when he saw grey killed by maya but phoenix objected because there was no way to get in
"its because she used the chimney stupid" said trilo
however the truth was revealed, trilo was lying because mayas clothes werent dirty because they would be if she fell onto the coal in the fireplace he also showed that mayas prints werent on the thinker but trilos puppetprints were but trilo told him that puppetprints are different to real fingerprints because he leaves puppetprints on things he doesnt hold which means he didnt use the weapon but that meant the weapon wasnt the thinker it must have been the wooden floorboard he moved to hide her body and it didnt have his puppetprints bcause he picked it up
"but how could i do it" said trilo "how could i get in"
"its because you can fly look your not being held up by someone so your floating so you got in through the chimney and after killing grey you flew out"
"no" said trilo but he was forced to confess
it was another happy day after that
