Why Staring was sleepy
Fast-reader-Finn: OK, I got this review about one of my stories (Sleepy Starling) asking why she was flying for so long a.k.a. why was she tired, so here it is.
Starling watched through her binoculars as Aerrow was chased through the sky by the Warden. Radar threw his spanner at the Warden's skimmer. Just before the spanner made contact, Starling fired a low velocity laser bolt at the Warden. The bolt hit the skimmer's rotors just as the spanner did. Aerrow was free!
Starling saw Aerrow was just about to look upwards, so she quickly flew down into the woods.
Starling saw the Condor approaching the prison. Starling flew at top speed to the prison , reaching it in less than five seconds. She dismounted and walked into the prison. Two guards appeared and advanced on Starling… until her nunchucks felled them.
Starling heard the Condor land outside, and she dashed back to her skimmer and flew in the opposite direction.
Two hours later…
Starling saw Dark Ace in the distance and he was closing fast. Starling turned her skimmer around and flew at top speed. She glanced backwards and was met with the sight of the Cyclonian army coming towards her.
Another two hours later…
The Condor was in sight… if she could just make it… then she fell asleep…
