The Magus was trying to teach Ambiades more about trees, but Gen and Sophos's conversation was getting rather distracting. He was beginning to regret dismissing Sophos who was already very knowledgeable. He eventually gave up and told Ambiades that they were taking a break. He slowed down and began to listen (He refused to believe he was eavesdropping) to the conversation between thief and prince:
"Hahaha. That was mean. Please don't say that to Ambiades's face, Gen. He'll be mad."
"No need to worry. I happen to be very good at not insulting people to their faces."(A\N:... no comment)
"Really? Maybe you can help me out with a problem then."
"Maybe, maybe not. It all depends."
"Well there's this lady visiting our court and she sort of... well... she kind of has this huge mole on her face and I can't stop staring at it."
".................Bwahahahahahahahahaha! Seriously?!! Haha! That's great!"
"Actually it's awful. I don't want to be rude, but....I mean, it's right there! And it's got these three little hairs sticking out of it like "Hello!"
"Hehehe... Just avoid her."
"I can't! She's always around!"
The Magus sped up. If he kept listening he would burst out laughing. The foreigner's mole was really quite large. Even he couldn't help staring at it.
