Time
A Supernatural Imagine
Authors note: So this is one of those thing I do to just stay creative and get out of writers block where I just write whatever comes to mind and make it into a story. I got this idea while I was watching some German movie with my dad about WW2. Anyway, background is that this is going on during a war of some kind possible the apocalypse or maybe they travled to a time of war or something but Sam, Dean, and Cas meet you the reader and you are this really powerful but frail person and I just kind of want this to be the journey of that.
Let's begin…
"Okay so where were we with this whole apocalypse thing?" Dean asked as he came into the study hall of the bunker where Sam was sitting around endless piles of books. "Well as far as we know there isn't a way to reseal the seals that were broken. I'm hoping that one of these books will give some other idea of how to stop the freaking devil from taking over the planet." Sam was on edge after a weeks of just reading, for the first time in what felt like ever he actually missed hunting. Anything was better than spending another minute of his life reading these books that seemed to contain no answer to this question. "So we have to read all of these?" Dean asked in disgust as he pointed his hand towards the books. There was a highly annoyed sigh as Sam looked up at this older brother. "Yes Dean we are going to have to read them until we find some sort of answer."
Dean begrudgingly sat down into the chair across from Sam picking what seemed to be the thinnest of the books and began reading. This went on for what felt like hours when a gush of wind signaled that Cas had finally arrived! "Oh thank God Cas! Please tell me you found something!" Honestly at the second Dean couldn't care less about the words that were going to come out of Cas's mouth just the fact there was a distraction from the books was enough to cause excitement.
"Hello Dean, Sam. To answer your question I have found an answer but I'm not really sure how to go about telling you." The perplexed look on Cas's face only managed to confuse the two brothers who raised their eyebrows to each other before hesitantly asking "Why don't you just try your best Cas." Castiel sighed his eyes flicking back and forth as though the answer were in front of him and he just couldn't quite read it. "There is a way to get the information we seek." Dean pumped his fist in the air excited they were actually about to do something! "Alright what is it?" "Well at the moment the issue isn't really what but where…our answers don't lay in this time."
Sam was the one to ask after a moment of silence "Cas was does that mean?"
"Well Sam, it means our answer lays in 1942."
"As in the middle Of WW2?" Sam asked overly confused at this point.
"Yes that would be accurate." It didn't go unnoticed by either boy the annoyance in Cas's tone.
"Okay so were going to be time traveling again?" Dean asked trying his best to not tick off their friend.
"It appear so." It didn't work, Cas still sounded as tired as before. "Okay let's get going. What are we looking for a book, spell, ingredients?" There was a moment of silence as Cas didn't respond to the question. "No, it is not that simple I'm afraid." The silence was deafening as the boys looked at each other Sam finally asking the question "Cas what exactly are we looking for." He finally looked up from the table to meet their gazes "A girl."
