phoenix turned his head to the gatewater hotel across the road and saw one of the rooms was damaged badly so he ran across the road and saw one of the rooms was boomed by a bomb in deathsructions and a man was lying on the wall dead
gumshoe said the bomb was really big and was halfway through being disabled and phoenix asked how he knew that because it was blown up and gumshoe tried to escape but phoenix had him pursued
so the truth was that gumshoe put the bomb in there and left the man in there and it was a challenge if he couldnt disable the bomb hed get blown up if he could he could leave the room alive but he failed so he died
but gumshoe is a detective and he knew there was no evidence so he escaped but phoenix was fine because gumshoe was a friend and the truth had been revealed to him so it didnt hurt him as much
