after finishing the book. Harry is reflecting through the fic about the
death of his godfather.

Harry Potter sat on the express on his way back to Kings Cross. Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna, and Neville were silent. It's my entire fault. He thought if I weren't so stubborn he would still be here. Sirius' face still looked at him pale and gaunt.

Now there was nothing, no more praying for his innocence. Thoughts of his third year filled his brain. If he was proven innocent I could have gone to live with him. No more Dursley's, but there's not even that.

The train stopped and he wiped the tears away. He wished he could dispose of the pain as easily. But it wasn't that simple. He saw Lupin, Moody and Tonks waiting. Harry walked to them.
