Travis was one jealous bastard.
He got jealous when Katie smiled at the waiter when he handed her her food.
He got jealous when Katie had to hold Timmy's hand when she was trying to teach him how to ice skate.
He got jealous when Katie hugged her own dad.
He got jealous when Katie laughed at one of Conner's jokes.
He got jealous when Katie ate hot dogs.
He got jealous when Katie would pet a stray dog at the park.
He got jealous when Katie did anything that didn't involve him.
Katie was one jealous bitch.
She got jealous when Travis had to interrupt her when telling him about her day just to answer his cell phone because his boss called, no matter how much he didn't want to.
She got jealous when Travis mentioned anyone and anything that had 'Jill' or 'Jillian' in its title. (Their kids never did learn about Jack and Jill when they were younger.)
She got jealous when Travis watched the Texan's game instead of watching her read.
She got jealous when Travis went with Conner to go watch a movie at Grover's house, leaving her all by herself.
She got jealous when Travis said how hot Jessica Rabbit was.
She got jealous when Travis accidentally touched the cashier's hand at Starbucks when she handed him his change.
She got jealous when Travis did anything that didn't involve her.
Travis and Katie were sympathetic.
They felt bad for smiling waiters and Denise's phone calls.
They felt bad for small eight year old boys and Jillian.
They felt bad for fathers who hugged and football.
They felt bad for Conner's jokes and Grover's movies.
They felt bad for hot dogs and Jessica Rabbit.
They felt bad for stray dogs and Starbucks cashiers.
They felt bad for anything and everything when they were together.
So this isn't really nothing much. Just short and sweet, really. If you haven't read Easy As 1, 2, 3 Timmy's just a little 8 year old boy that Conner has to look after and Denise is Travis's boss. And Jillian, which actually goes all the way back to Bad Katie!, is just an ex-girlfriend of Travis.
