Roxas stared down at the scattered pieces on the coffee table in front of him.
He just didn't get it, why would you put something, or in theleast, buy something ripped apart just so you can see whats already shown to you on the box!
He heard a clanck on the coffee table, he glanced out the corner of his eye to see a white coffee mug.
Roxas just closed his eyes and sighed softly. "Since when do you drink coffee?"
"Since you started doing puzzles." A certain pyro smirked "You hate puzzles."
"Since when did I say that?"
"Since two weeks ago when you and Demyx did that one-hundred puzzle and screamed you hated puzzles then pushed all the pieces off the table with your arms flailing in the air, and then stomping out the door." Axel explained casually.
Roxas bit his bottom lip nervously, reminicing on the event. He just sighed softly, staring down at the puzzle pieces, before groaning loudly. "Uhhh! I cant do this." He said, slamming his head ontop of the puzzle pieces.
Axel chuckles softly and smiled. "Here, let me help." He replied, hovering over Roxas who was sitting on the floor. He put his arms over Roxas' shoulders, placing his hands ontop of the puzzle pieces. "Puzzles are kinda like how the organization taught us how to seek our victims." Axel explained further.
Roxas' eyes widen, "no wonder I don't like puzzles."
Axel laughed, he was glad that there was someone else on the Organization he could get along with other than Demyx.
Axel lowered his face down next to Roxas'. "Theres an easy saying to help you."
"Well?" Roxas asked impatiently, "Come on! I want to conquer this mass of evilness!"
Axel chuckled lightly once more, Roxas was so child-like, yet so determined. He couldn't help but to give him a peck on the cheek. "Seek your surroundings and then attack the middle."
Roxas was too concerned that the skin on his face was going to melt off, before he even realized Axel had spoken again. "Wh-what?" He turned his face slowly to Axels.
They're lips were brushing against one anothers, Roxas blushed, and Axel just smiled before leaning in and pecking a small kiss ontop of Roxas' lips. "Are you listening now?" He asked.
Roxas nodded immideatly, "Yes."
"OK, heres the saying: "Seek your surroundings then attack the middle." "
"Sooo...put all the edges together first then fill in the middle?" Roxas asked.
Axel smiled brightly and nodded. "Fast learner, no wonder we wantd you in the Organization." He laughed at his own joke then ruffled Roxas' hair.
Roxas really didn't seem to notice Axels affection or praise as he was too busy trying to figure out the puzzle with his tongue stuck outside the corner of his mouth, apparently trying to help him.
Axel stood straight up, grabbed his coffee mug and sat in the recliner chair, which was kiddy-corner from the coffee table.
Axel would sneak a peek every so often at the ever-so-determined Roxas.
Axel smiled.
Roxas was like his own puzzle. He knew his surroundings, he's attacked the middle.
Axel had it memorized, he just couldn't solve the puzzle.
