Sonny grumbled as she made her way back into her and Tawni's dressing room.
"What is wrong with you?" Tawni asked, as she slung her purse over her shoulder.
"I hate storms!"
"Sonny Munroe is afraid of thunderstorms!" Tawni squealed all the way down the hall.
"I am not!" Sonny screamed at her, knowing that it was probable useful.
Sonny had never been afraid of thunderstorms. The only reason why she hated them so much is because they all ways make her hair frizzy. Today was no exception.
Pulling her hair into a lose pony tail, she made her way down to the exit. IT was getting pretty bad outside. The flood lights out in the parking lot was all ready on and it was only 2 in the afternoon.
But right when she was getting ready to head outside, is when something at caught her attention. Sitting in the corner, right next to the door, all curled up was… Well she really couldn't tell who it was, but she did recognize the poof of blonde hair.
"Chad?"
Chad looked up from where he was sitting, and Sonny could tell that he looked really freaked out. "Hey, Sonny."
"What in the world are you doing sitting on the floor?"
"I have my reasons." At that moment, it thundered really loud causing Chad to nearly jump a foot in the air.
"You afraid of the storm, aren't you?" Sonny said, sitting down next to him.
"What? No. Chad Dylan Cooper isn't afraid of anything." Chad said, but couldn't control jumping again when it thundered.
"Chad, it's okay to be afraid." Sonny said, taking off her jacket.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm going to stay here with you. You shouldn't be here all alone if you are freaked out."
"Sonny, go home. I didn't ask for you to stay. I have been threw storms all alone, not saying that I'm afraid or anything." Chad said.
"Chad, come on. You really want to be in a big studio all alone with a severe storm going on. I'm not even afraid of storms and that freaks me out."
Chad sighed and ran a hand threw his hair. "Fine, I'm afraid of storms. But if you tell anyone about this, I swear you will totally get it."
"Fine."
"Fine."
"Good."
"Good."
"So are we good?"
BOOM! Chad jumped up and somehow landed in Sonny's lap. "I take that as a no." Sonny said, laughing.
Chad pulled him back on the floor next to Sonny his face on fire. "Sorry about that." Chad said, not looking Sonny in the eye.
"It's okay. Come on, this floor is killing my butt." Sonny said, while standing up.
"Your butt looks fine to me." Chad said, causing Sonny to whip around quickly that she lost her balance.
Before she hit the floor, she felt two strong arms grab her around the waist. Sonny opened her eyes, noticing how close her and Chad's faces were. Sonny started getting lost in Chad's mesmerizing eyes as Chad started to lean in a bit.
Just as they were about to kiss when BOOM! Chad jumped, pulling Sonny out of her trance.
"Uh . . . Uh. . . I can't believe that you said that." Sonny said.
"Well, it's the truth."
"Really?"
"Sonny, I have been crazy for you, since we first met one another."
"Then why do you make my life crazy every day?"
"Because I love the way you look when you are all fired up." Chad said, looking at the floor. Neither one had taken notice that Chad still hadn't taken his arms off Sonny's waist.
"Chad, I really . . ." Sonny couldn't even finish what she was saying because Chad had brushed his lips against hers.
"Whoa!" Sonny said, her eyes was still closed. "What would you say if I told you that I like you too?"
"Then I would say I really love thunderstorms now." Chad said, beaming.
"Chad, you must really love thunderstorms then." Sonny said, pulling Chad into a proper kiss.
Both of them so into each other that neither one of them had even noticed that the storm was over and the sun had came back out.
A/N: Love it? Hate it? Tell me what'cha think. Danielle.
