I know it's short and kinda odd, but it's my first fanfic! Please review and tell me what you think!

"Booth!" She yelled for the hundredth time. "I don't know any of those movies! Just pick one!"

Special Agent Seeley Booth scowled at his partner and closed his eyes, without looking he randomly pulled a DVD from a large stack of movies he had on his coffee table.

He opened his eyes and helled the movie up. "This one ok for you?"

Brennan shrugged and eyed the front of it. "I guess."

Booth nodded and turned the movie case around to see what he had picked. "Great, The Happening."

"What's wrong with that?"

"I've only seen it once, and I really didn't get it."

"Why not?"

"Well, the plants are supposed to be. . ."

"Booth! Don't tell me what happens!"

"Fine." Booth said as he popped the DVD into his DVD player. "You'll just have to watch if for yourself."

Brennan nodded, and Booth pulled himself up on the couch beside of her. It had taken him a long while to get her to watch a movie with him, she had constantly given him excuses every time she'd come over to his apartment for dinner. But this time, he was determined to get Brennan to watch a movie with him. She had to get in touch with today's pop culture, and watching a current movie was one of the best ways.

The menu popped up and, after Booth had practically ripped his living room up looking for the remote, he pressed play. Brennan crossed her legs tightly together and set her hands in her lap, she watched as the credits rolled by in what was supposed to be the sky.

When the credits were finally over Brennan was already fidgeting in her seat. "Why don't they put the credits at the end?"

Booth looked at her and raised an eyebrow at her curiously. "You know, it's obvious you don't watch TV. They put the credits at the end too, it's just these are supposed to tell you the basics of who's in the movie."

Brennan nodded her head and returned her eyes to the screen. She watched the movie a little bit before speaking again.

"There would have to be much more force behind that chops stick for her to kill herself. If you stab yourself with a chops stick it's not going to kill you unless it's got a very sharp edge or a lot more force behind it."

"It's a movie, Bones. A fictional movie. You can do anything in a fictional movie."Booth told her before adverting his eyes back to the TV.

Brennan watched with mild interest through the movie, making comments about most everything. When the movie had ended Brennan stood up suddenly. "What kind of ending was that?" She said. "If it was nature turning against humanity, then people everywhere would be sick, no matter if they stayed in their homes or not! There is mildew and mold in houses, there is also products of nature in homes! A lot more people would of died."

Booth shook his head and rolled his eyes, maybe making her watch a movie with him was a bad idea?

"Bones, it's a movie." He said. "But you know, that Zooey girl kind of looks like you?"

Brennan looked at him quizically. "Zooey girl?"

"Yeah, Zooey Deschanel, that was the actress who played Elma, or Selma, maybe it's Zelma, I wasn't really sure on her name."

"The main female character?"

"Yeah."

Brennan shrugged. "Our facial features are minutely similar, but it's not like we're sisters or anything."

"Yeah." Booth said with a playfull shove. "But you could be distant cousins or something."

Brennan chuckled. "I highly doubt that."

"Yeah, sure, whatever. I still think you're distantly related."

Brennan made a face and picked up another DVD off of the coffee table. "Booth, that's highly improbably. Now put another movie in."

"Whatever you say, Zooey."

Brennan glared at him and made herself more comfortable on the couch. She did not look anything like Zooey Deschanel!
