Here I am,
Laying sprawn across a bed of white satin,
My willing body aching desperately for yours.

If only you would walk through my door now,
My strength, my determination, my will
To not fall prey to you and our hearts
Would fly out the window like
A captive dove set free.
One look from you,
One sound from your sexy voice,
I would be yours.

But I know you won't
Because you're still trying
To force yourself to love her
Even though it's me we both know you truly want.
So I lay here and dream
In these hazy clouds of white
That feel so empty without your presence.

I lay here and dream
Of what could have been,
Of what should have been,
But what will never be.

I lay here and dream of what it would feel like
To be in your arms, in your heart;
To feel your lips on mine,
Setting my body and soul on searing flame;
To feel your hands caress my skin
And make my flesh sing;
To feel your warmth embed me;
To be whisked away in all
The incredible, forbidden passion and love
Only you can grant me.

In the night, where no other can hear,
I call the name of the man I love,
Of my soul mate --
Yes, you've even made me believe in those silly fantasies --
Of you, Sean.

You'll never know of any of this.
You'll never know that you're
The only man to ever charm his way into my icy heart,
The only one who ever could break through my barriers.
You'll never know that I love you, Sean Cassidy,
For I know you'll never really love me
And I don't deserve you, though neither does she.

But at least I'll always have these dreams,
And dream I shall for that is all
That makes my life without you, without your love,
Playing the cold-hearted bitch that I know I must,
Worth surviving, worth living,
And so I dream.

The End
