Hey guys! Welcome to my new story! I'm going to write this one along side "Project S.P.A.R.K." I hope you guys like it! Enjoy!
Prologue
The world was over when scientists discovered it. The Pokerus. Upon examining, they figured out that it helped make pokemon stronger. They also learned that it spread easily between pokemon with contact, so they gave a couple trainers pokemon that had the virus. That was their first mistake. The scientist should have researched the virus longer.
After a while, the pokemon began to act weird. They would stop obeying their trainers. Some have even reported attacking their trainers. The virus only made them worse, and more violent. It wasn't too soon after the reports that the virus spread region-wide.
"Poochyena, use tackle!" The boy ordered, desperately trying to catch the wild Shinx. The boy's pokemon hit the Shinx directly on its side. It squealed, and flopped on the ground. The boy got his pokeball ready, aiming it at Shinx. He threw it, and hit it dead on. The pokemon was enveloped in a red light, and sucked up into the ball.
He waited patiently as the pokeball shook. This would be the second pokemon he caught on his own. A few days ago, his Poochyena battled with a tailow and he was able to catch his first pokemon.
The pokeball stopped shaking, and was followed quickly by a click. Shinx was now caught. He leapt with glee, dancing with his newly caught pokemon within its ball. "Hey, buddy! We got you a new friend!" He said to his Poochyena.
His dancing and celebration stopped when he noticed that Poochyena was not cheering as well. Usually when they have a victory, they both would dance around. This time it scowled at him, with a weird look in his eyes. The boy bent down to give his pokemon a pat on the head.
"Hey, Bud. Is something wrong?" He asked.
Something in his voice, along with his hand touching it made it snap. It growled and lunged at the boy. It bit down hard on his arm, and shook it violently back and forth. The boy screamed in agony, but he was too far out in the woods for anyone to hear him. Poochyena shook the arm hard enough for it to tear his skin away from his arm. The bite was deep enough to expose his bone. He stopped chewing on his arm, and went for the next best thing, his neck. Blood spurted from his neck as the Poochyena chomped down on it.
Due to his sudden blood loss, the boy soon went limp and cold. Poochyena calmed down from its rage, and ran off into the woods.
