(mar-E-&-nets) Zephyrus
A
silver shroud was his sumptuous abyss, his clear mind and his twisted soul. When the mystical creature known as Jenova retreated to her dark chasm, releasing him of her reins, he delved into his own wondrous cloud, sleeping until the break of dawn as he relished this silver, magical realm. It was hard to describe this fantasy. Simply, it was heaven with a dose of his perverse tastes. Black and gold twine was sprawled all over the floor, wrapping itself around forgotten objects – his sweet memories. There was no need for them, anyhow. All he wanted – desired – was to make mindless puppets out of curious and senseless humans. He cherished and reveled in the feel of having power over someone. One was already on his hit list for life. Somehow, though, just one refused to satisfy his craving. He wanted to control; it was his breath.Suddenly, he was encompassed in a surge of flashbacks, dating back four years ago when he was but a youth of twenty.
Nibelheim.
He grinned as his memories flung various people in his direction.
Zack.
Dead.Cloud.
Already his.A female guide.
Desired. He shoved the flashback far from him and focused on the solitary image of the Nibelheim guide. Beautiful, she was. Silk, mahogany tresses, crimson irises, full lips with a radiant smile, ivory skin…
Tifa Lockheart.
Mine.He picked up a gold string on the floor and kissed it, butterfly-soft. Then, with an unknown elegance he formed the string into her name and let it fly away from his lonely abyss.
Capture her. Make her mine to mold.
..Sephiroth, it is time..
The man with hair of moonshade and eyes of stardust folded the enchantment that was his and awoke with a full day ahead of him, as the sun was beginning to rise over the horizon. Another day, another vendetta, he thought grimly. Except this time, he had something to look forward to.
Notes:
Well, well. Since Crimson Cage was a frightful piece, I replaced it with this under a fresh start, Zephyrus. I've noticed the sinister theme of my stories as of late, but if you don't like it and you have every intentions of pushing that review button to chew me out – screw yourselves. Have a nice day.
