READ THIS: So that there is no confusion, I have made up this whole scenario where the Mad Hatter has fallen in love with Alice and wants to show her his love, but it is only something he can only ever dream of. In Wonderland, love between them is forbidden for some reason that they are unaware of. So in his little journal, he writes to Alice, hoping that one day she may read his song.
