Clarisse PoV

I walked down the stairs of the Big House. People gave me odd looks, I didn't care. I saw Chris asleep on the bed, he was breathing heavy, but wasn't jerking around. I walked over and fixed his blankets. I moved the hair out of his brown eyes. Then he screamed. He jerked around and I touched his shoulder. His eyes shot open, that calm sleeping boy was gone. "Mary! I'm so scared." He cried to me. His voice shot with fear and insanity. I touched his shoulder. "Chris, it's ok." 'No Mary! We're all going to die in the fires." He screamed again, digging his nails into the sheets. I took his hand, his breathing slowed down. "Mary?" He asked, still timid, but not as bad. "Yeah?" She answered. "Are we going to die?" She was struck by the question. "I-I don't know. I truly don't know." I sat down. His hand had failed out of mine. I had prayed to the gods repeatedly, but no response. They don't see the worth of a traitor. I had even prayed to Dionysus and Aphrodite, anyone who could help. My eyes felt wet and warm. I took a deep breath. I let it out and heard a squeak. My tears fell. "Don't cry Clarisse." Said a voice. I turned to see Chris wipe my tear. He still sounded bad, but he said my name. "You said my name." "Don't cry." He whispered again wiping my tears. "Don't cry, the monsters can sense fear." He said, hush. "Are there any monsters?" I asked him. "No, the monsters are gone." I got up and hugged him. "The gods have shown mercy." I said, with an emotion I hadn't seen in a long time, excited. "Say it again." I asked him. "What?" "My name." "Clarisse La Rue." I laughed and hugged him again. "Your back Chris." I said.

Yah! Chris got his memory back. Not my best, but short and sweet, enjoy guys!
