1. Into the Darkness

Rachel Berry sat on one of the many branches of the local oak tree with her pet cat Mittens. The fields of flowers beside her separated Ohio and the country. Her tutor lay at the base of the tree reading Shakespeare to her, "Thou Art Romeo?" Miss Katie Harris her tutor said in a posh manner. Rachel lifted Mittens and put her on her lap "Oh Mittens if only Juliet could see Romeo is only infatuated with her, books are nothing more than a waste of space."

"I Beg your pardon" spoke Katie in a shocked manner "Shakespeare is one of the best English publishers ever!" Rachel rolled her eyes in annoyance; she was always listening to what she said. Rachel turned to her side and looked at London, "Mittens if only Shakespeare could make his literature more interesting."

"Rachel for your information" Katie said eavesdropping "Shakespeare's' Literature is every interesting!"

"Yet he couldn't even stay at home with his wife and kids" retaliated Rachel.

"Rachel Berry, how dare you answer me back!" shouted Katie "Now Listen-"

"I would find Shakespeare more interesting if there were pictures in the book" said Rachel smiling.

"Pictures?" shouted Katie "In Shakespeare?"

"Yes pictures, of dancing flowers and singing, oh how I wish there was singing in Shakespeare" yawned Rachel who has a passion for singing.

"Dancing Flowers?" shouted Katie "I think this sun has gone to your head, pack up were leaving!" Rachel slipped down the tree and landed on the ground laughing, Mittens followed. Katie sighed "Rachel when will you ever learn and grow up!" Holding Romeo and Juliet firmly Katie strutted off, and Rachel followed. Looking around the scenery, Rachel noticed something in the distance. Watching Katie walked on mumbling about something, Rachel ran through the flowers to when the object was.

Rachel gasped when she arrived "You're a rabbit!" A white rabbit was dressed holding a massive clock screaming "I'm Late, I'm Late! No time to wait, I'm Late, I'm Late, I'm Late!" It ran down a dusty lane and Rachel followed. Rachel shouted "Mr Rabbit please wait!" But it continued to run and shout "I'm Late!" About ten minutes later it ran into the trunk of the tree. Rachel stood outside and paused with Mittens at her feet. "Hmmm, I better go in" she said to herself getting down on her knees. Crawling through the hole, she slipped and entered the darkness.
