Succumb.
Prologue: Crashing.
Long hair pulled up into a pony tail swung temptingly in the face of the young boy. His eyes followed it as the yellow school bus bumped and banged its way along the little back road. The girl in front of him had on her large headphones, though he couldn't hear any music playing, and unlike ever other teenagers on the bus, she was sitting straight up, eyes a head, staring out of the front window. The temptation to pull her hair was getting more and more intense so he reached out a gloved hand to grab the lock when he froze. No longer did he want to touch this girl.
Her head had turned… but her body had stayed in the same position, facing forward. The little boy's eye's widened as the girl's mouth stretched into a large, murderously happy smile, showing long shinning white canines. His heart speed up, why was no one else seeing this? How had no one noticed? Before the boy could open his mouth to let out a scream, the air was filled with the sound of screeching breaks. A great jolt sent the occupants of the bus forward flying. The scrape of metal howled into the frozen winter air as the school bus flipped, glided through the air and landed on its top.
People picked themselves up, now standing on the roof of what was once their bus.
Before the driver of the bus could instruct the students on what to do, the metal of the bus began to twist around them, trapping them inside the vehicle. Fire erupted around them as the space began to get smaller and smaller. Metal became warm, then hot. No one noticed the absence of the black haired girl, who always sat at the front of the bus. Head phones always on, never talking to anyone.

"Guys…" Lee's strained voice called from one of the hotel rooms. It was obvious that something was very wrong from the tone of her cry. "There's… been an explosion…" Trevn entered the room, holding a child in each hand, followed by Tori who also held a baby. Chloe held Derek's hand and she looked behind her, watching as Simon, Kevin, Raven, Lauren and Kit trailed in. Last to
enter was Zeek. "Look," Lee said pointing to the little tv. Everyone crowded around to watch the news about a bus that had been in an accident. Somehow it had flipped, and caught on fire, then proceeded to explode.
"No survivors," Simon echoed the female news caster's words as they cut to a scene of the burning twisted bus.
Long hair pulled up into a pony tail swung behind a tall young woman as she watched flames leap joyfully around her work. She smiled her heart stopping beam and let her boot clad foot fall on a small twig that had been caught in the blaze, putting it out. A thin fingered hand fell on her shoulder and squeezed lightly. She nodded and turned away from the accident, vanishing into thin air.
After she had gone, a small cough came, and a hand pushed up through metal, pushing it aside to make way for the small boy. A gash ran the length of his forehead, slowly dripping blood. After the coughing fit ended, he growled a low and menacing vibration in the back of his tiny throat before he pulled himself out completely. Brushing the flames from his frame, he took off after the girl, vanishing in the same spot.
