Prologue
I crept silently into the misty forest next to Auradon prep. It was against the rules to sneak out before wake up call. But who cares I had seen something and I was going to find out what it was.
~Earlier that morning~
I kept tossing. I still had a hard time sleeping in a bed. Cut me some slack! I had grown up in a forest my whole life! I finally gave up. Getting out of bed taking care not to disturb my roommate, Eden, I crossed silently over to the window. I pulled back the lavender coloured curtain. I saw a bright dark purple and white flash then it was gone. I crossed back to my bed grabbing my recurve bow and my quiver filled with arrows. Taking a deep breath I slipped out of the school.
~Present~
I crept up on the clearing that I had seen the flash appear. I saw a man. He had shaggy black hair with steel grey flecks. I notched an arrow, I probably should have done this earlier, but hey I am an ignorant sixteen year old. He was unconscious. I reached down and felt his pulse. His eyes snapped open. He grabbed my wrists twisting them behind my back knocking the bow from my grasp. I struggled, but to no avail.
"Who are you?"
"Why would I tell you?" I snarled while struggling.
"Maybe because you are defenceless and I am armed. Is that reason enough?"
"My name is Saya. Saya Hood."
"Well Saya Hood. Where am I?"
"You're in Auradon."
