RESIDENT X-FILE

Author's Note: This is my first fanfic to actually be posted on the web. I am new to this whole thing, so please bear with me. Now, characters and settings-I'll admit-border on the complex, so allow me to take a moment to get some details out of the way.
Summary: The year is 2007 and Umbrella, Incorporated has long since been abolished. Also, the X-Files has grown from being a two-person investigative team working out of a basement office to a full-blown division of the FBI's national headquarters. It is, as one might have guessed, under the leadership of Assistant Director Fox Mulder and it employs a staff of twenty-some-odd investigators and analysts. Dana Scully has since retired from the FBI to raise her and Mulder's son, William. If your surprised or if you disapprove.tough nuts. If you watched the final season you'd see it makes perfect sense.
Meanwhile, in another part of the world, are our heroes from the Resident Evil Saga, in this story's case, Rebecca Chambers, Leon Kennedy, and his fiancé, Claire Redfield.yeah, that's right. I paired them off and I don't regret it. Chambers is a doctor of neurology practicing in Manhattan, Kennedy is a city detective in New Hampshire and Claire is an accountant. Unbeknownst to these five individuals they are soon to find themselves in the bowels of a nightmare to rival the horrors of the now nonexistent Raccoon City.
Things to keep in mind: 1. There are several tie-ins and references made to the Resident Evil novels. For those of you unfamiliar with them, consult the Internet or you local bookstore. 2. John Doggit fans: don't get your hopes up. He's not in this writing anywhere. 3. Fox Mulder and the RE crew each had their inside informants working for them. Consider if you will the possibility that they may have worked together. They may even have been the same people. 4. William Mulder meets Sherry Birkin.it will happen!
