(NOTE) (This takes place when Recker has to decide who will die to save the ship) "Come on, Recker! You have to decide." Irish yelled. "I'm not deciding, Irish. I'm going down by myself. Goodbye, Irish and Hannah." Recker said in a deep, death ready voice. He slid down the rope and went to plant the charge. "Recker, what are you doing? Don't do this. You could have picked one of us!" Hannah said. "Hannah, when I joined the marines... I wanted to help my country out everyday and sometimes you or someone else has to make choices that you will regret forever." Recker said back. Recker then planted the bomb and the explosion happened. The radio to Recker was dead. And so was he. "Sir. We got Tombstone, but Sgt. Recker is dead... " The pilot told Garrison. Garrison was devastated. Recker was gone. "Understood, marine."
Garrison replied. The group of soldiers found Recker's dead body and decided that Recker needed a funeral to remember him... The funeral was taking place in a few hours.
At the funeral, Garrison said a few words about Recker: "Today, we lost a great friend and a great man... Sgt. Daniel Recker was K.I.A. after saving Irish and Hannah from them having to go down to blow up the ship." Garrison said, sadly. "Does anyone here have something about Recker?" Garrison asked. "Yes, I do." Pac said. "Alright, Pac. You can go ahead." Garrison said. "Recker was close to me... I saved him a lot of times and he returned the favor by letting me in the squad with Dunn and Irish." Pac said. "He was almost like my older brother who watched over me." Pac said. "And, Recker. If your listening in heaven, I just want to know that I miss you." Pac said. "That's all, sir." Pac told Garrison. "Alright. Is there anyone else who has something to say about Recker?" Garrison asked. "I'll say something and then I'll let Hannah go after that, sir." Garrison said. Irish went up to Recker's casket. "Recker, I know you are dead now, but I just want to say that I always looked up to you as a father figure. I have childern at home and I just thought you were my father." Irish said. "And, Daniel. I'm going to miss you. It was good to meet you and I hope I see you in heaven one day..." Irish said, sadly. "I'm finished, sir." Irish told Garrison. "Alright... Hannah you can go now..." Garrison said.
Hannah stepped up near Recker's grave and began her speech. "Recker... I know we didn't know eachother for a long time but you were my best friend... I will miss you,
Daniel. Always will. And if you didn't know this, I have feelings for you... I hope you can hear me from heaven. Daniel Recker, I loved you and I couldn't tell you because you would react the way I wanted you too. What I'm saying is, that I love you Daniel Recker and always will." Hannah said.
