Remember Me by Josh Groban and Tanja Tzarovsk
Harry Potter and Severus Snape break apart. The Dark Lord is calling.
"It is time."
Draco Malfoy gives Ron Weasley a chaste kiss on the lips before hastily gathering the rest his clothes.
"It is time."
Draco and Severus meet up in front of the great Oak doors.
"And where have you been?"
Harry meets Ron halfway up towards the tower.
"Dumbledore."
Severus and Draco sprint to the apparation border.
"They'll be here any moment."
"Lemon Drops."
"Jelly Beans"
"Peppermint Sticks"
"Chocolate Frog"
"Tounge Twist Taffy"
"FIDDLESTICKS"
Red eyes glisten in the dark night awaiting his followers.
"They know nothing my Lord."
The door opens to reveal a winding staircase.
"Let's go."
But Harry trips.
The dark creatures mount their brooms. Slowly they make their way towards the castle just four miles away.
Harry and Ron continue up the staircase and charge into the Headmaster's office.
"It is time."
Sirens echo throughout the building. Confused voices ring out of every corner.
Prefects lead the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years towards the common rooms.
"They are the last defense."
"I want to fight!"
"You will not join the army Mr. Potter. We cannot risk you dying early in the battle."
The dark shapes come closer as chaos erupts inside the castle.
Harry, instead of taking a left, takes a right, and heads out with the rest of the crowd.
The older students pile out of the oak doors just in time to see the black cloud of evil arrive on their front steps.
Red.
Green.
Purple.
Blue.
Colors flash in the sky. To the students in the building, it looks like a fireworks show gone wrong.
Eyes meet across the battle field. One pair, the color of emeralds. The other, as dark as black.
They take a step towards each other.
"Severus, bring the Potter boy to me."
More eyes meet across the battlefield. One pair, light blue, almost gray. The other, chocolate brown.
One takes a step forward.
"Draco, kill the Weasley boy."
Two dark men take steps across the battlefield. Making sure to do no more damage than a simple disarming spell.
"He wants me to take you to him."
"Then kill me Severus."
"I'm supposed to kill you."
"I trust you."
"But how can I?"
"How am I supposed to do this?"
"I'd rather die by your hand, than by the hand of a madman."
"Just do it Draco. Don't let me die at the hands of another."
And three words echo in all four minds.
"I love you."
"Avada Kedavra."
"Avada Kedavra."
"I will love you forever Severus Snape."
"I will love you forever Draco Malfoy."
