"Just A Kid In Love" is about a girl named Sammantha. She finds out about Shawn Mendes from a friend and immediately falls in love and a few years later goes to his world tour and won a meet up! Shawn says something which could change everything for her.

"Sammantha! Get off that laptop, you've been on it all day, go outside and enjoy your summer!"
"Mum. Don't call me Sammantha you know I hate my name!" I shout back,scrolling down Vine.
"A simple please would work. Anyway come down and enjoy this weather before it's gone, sunnyweather never lasts in Scotland..." Mum says, dragging me out of my bed.

Eventually, I get out of bed, grabmy laptop and sit outside.
"Wow this is so fun." I say sarcastically, just wishing it was raining.
I felt a vibration on my lap. I was getting a call from Leigh.
"Finally I can get away from here!" I thought running up the stairs as quick as I could.
"Hey Sam! Guess what?Actually let me tell you. There's a guy I found on Vine called Shawn Mendes and he's getting really popular! Check him out and see what you think, I'm sure he has a few songs out as well so I'm gonna listen to some, let me know
what you think of him!" Leighscreamed through the phone, talking with excitement.
"Okay, let's search this guy up"I thought, searching Shawn Mendes on the internet.
"Right there's a few songs here, One Of Those Nights, Life Of The Party, Show You, The Weight." I said to myself, scrolling down to find more information.
I called Leigh straight after I listened to his songs.
"I let all his songs play and I think I'm in love Leigh!"
I screamed with delight.
"It says here he is 15 years old! The same age as us!" Leigh yelled through the phone.
"Imagine me and him dating, being on all of the magazines with photographers following our every footstep, going to fancy parties and meeting other celebs!"
"Sam, we both know that will never happen." Leigh said,ruining the thought.
"I guess, a girl can dream right?"
