Innocent!
I can do those too!
Teaching someone anything was hard work, rewarding, but hard. Especially if that someone was Anna and the thing Elsa needed to teach her wasn't simple maths or literature. Nope. It was baking.
Baking of all things! Something that should be fairly easy to learn.
Place stuff in thing.
Mix stuff to make different thing.
Make it warm till edible.
How hard was that?
Apparently really hard, considering that the adorable redhead could literally burn water. Elsa swears she saw the girl look at the stove once and it caught fire.
"Okay Anna, we're going to make something really easy. It only has two ingredients," Elsa sighs as she tries her best to ignore the messy kitchen. Pots and pans lay on the far counter; flour had been strewn across not only the floor but against the cupboards as well.
Elsa herself was only protected from the dry ingredient due to the apron she wore, but Anna had some of the stuff in her hair and over her arms.
The redhead smiled sheepishly as she swayed back and forth on her heels.
"Can you fetch me the ice cream?" Elsa asked and the girl saluted. She rushed to the fridge and pulled out a container of vanilla ice cream, placing it down and smiling proudly.
"Alright, good, now fetch me the last of our flour," Elsa asked and she saw Anna pivot a few times before finding where Elsa had stored it. She had kept it out of the girls reach just in case.
"What exactly can we make from this?" Anna asked, sounding rather excited. How could she not? It required ice cream!
"Fetch me the bread pan," Elsa hums and Anna hesitates before fetching it.
"You're telling me we can make bread just out of these two ingredients?" Anna asked sceptically.
Elsa smiled and gave her a nod before stepping to the side.
"This should be easy enough Anna, just mix the two together in the bread pan till the flour is moistened. Just don't forget to spray the pan first so it doesn't stick," Elsa reminded her and Anna blinked.
"Okay, okay yea, I can do this," Anna smiled and started by adding almost more than enough of the no stick cooking spray. It was enough to make both girls cough and swallow thickly. Elsa decided not to say anything as she watched.
Anna scooped in a generous amount of ice cream into the pan before adding the flour. She mixed and after looking at it she added a little more flour in till she was satisfied.
"Good now, I already heated the oven to the right temperature so you just need to place it in and then we wait 40-45 minutes," Elsa smiled. Anna grinned as she did as told. Elsa watched the girl hunch down to look into the oven, before deciding to just sit down.
"Anna, it's going to take a while," Elsa reminded her.
"I know, I just don't believe you that this will make bread," Anna hummed. Elsa rolled her eyes before smiling. She hummed and grabbed two spoons before sitting down next to the girl. Anna blinked and took the offered utensil.
"Let's enjoy some ice cream yea?" Elsa asked as she placed the container on their knees where they touched. Anna smiled bright and started enjoying the treat.
She could get used to learning how to bake, if the person teaching her was Elsa.
See? Innocent!
