Anywho, This is a KakaIru (Kakashi X Iruka) ficlet... meaning it's a relationship between two males, so if you don't dig that, then don't read it... but if you don't mind it, then please enjoy!! and feel free to review (No C+C though Please... it's not supposed to be great, I wrote in about 15 minutes, so yeah...)

Candy Cane! Part 2

The winter moon peaked through the grey clouds that crept across the night sky. Snow fell lightly to the ground below, sparkling in the pale moonlight. Chimney smoke silently floated up into the night. Inside their homes, the people of Konoha enjoyed the peaceful, quiet evening.
Inside one particular home, one of the village's finest Jounin sat close to the fireplace, sipping from a mug of creamy hot cocoa , watching the snow fall outside of the window.
The sound of water running and dishes clinking against each other could be heard coming from the kitchen.
Turning his gaze away from the window, Kakashi called out toward the kitchen.
"Iruka-Kun, why don't you forget the dishes and come sit down for a bit?"
Up to his elbows in soapy water, the dark haired shinobi called back to partner in crime.
"Too late now… I've already started washing them. It shouldn't take long though."
The silver-haired man replied with a sigh.
"But… well, suit yourself then."
He turned his gaze back out the window and shivered involuntarily as he pondered just how cold it must be outside.
In the Kitchen, Iruka had just finished cleaning up and was rummaging through the cupboards when he spotted a box of Candy Canes sitting on the far counter. Recalling a little incident that had occurred between himself and Kakashi during winter one year ago, the chuunin smirked and helped himself to one of the minty treats before joining his one true love in the living room.
As he entered the cozy, warm little room, Kakashi scooted over on the loveseat to make room for the younger man.
"Dishes all done then , 'Ruka-Kun??"
Settling down on the loveseat, Iruka snuggled up against the older man and nodded , unwrapping the candy cane that he held in his hands.
At the sound of the plastic being pulled off of something, Kakashi looked down to see the candy in Iruka's hands.
"A candy cane??"
"What about it??"
"It's cold tonight. You're not going to have any hot chocolate??" The Jounin asked, raising a brow.
Iruka continued to unwrap the sweet, not once looking up at his boyfriend.
"I know of another way I can warm up."
"Oh??"
The silver-haired man gave his mate a puzzled look. In turn, Iruka placed the wrapper on the coffee table, and turned to Kakashi. Smirking ever so slightly, he gave the candy cane a seductive lick.
"Kashi-Kun??
Watching the younger man, Kakashi shivered again, but this time it was not from the thought of cold.
Standing up, Iruka licked the candy can once more, and took it into his mouth, sucking on it slowly, teasing the other man.
"Wanna suck on my candy cane??"
With that he started toward their bedroom.
Kakashi was on his feet in a second, following quickly behind, his Hot chocolate forgotten on the coffee table.
Outside the snow continued to fall as the temperature fell to below freezing.
But inside one household, at least, the heat was definitely on.
