A.N. Hey guys! this is my first fanfiction and I would love some feedback!

I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING!

Annabeth sat in the cold library studying... Yet again. It seemed that's all she ever did now that she started going to the NYC boarding school. Well, that and rebuilding Olympus.

She sat at the table, alone might I add, reviewing her notes for the millionth, scratch that, billionth time. She was wearing comfortable jeans and a CHB shirt under a warm sweatshirt. Her hair was a mess, but she really didn't care, it wasn't like she was seeing anybody... special today, AKA her boyfriend, Percy Jackson.

An hour or so of studying passed when, suddenly, some one sat in the chair next to her and whispered," What's up Wise Girl?"

The girl nick named 'Wise Girl' felt a small smile form on her face. "I'm studying, obviously. The real question is, what are you doing here, Seaweed Brain? I mean, this is a library!" she teased.

"I just wanted to see you, ya know? I figured you were either here or at your dorm... I stopped at your dorm first; you weren't there, so I came here and here we are,"

"Yeah..." there was an awkward silence that fell between the two.

"Is that my sweatshirt?" Percy asked, confused.

Annabeth blushed," You gave it to me last night while we were on a walk, and I haven't gotten a chance to give it back,"

"Makes sense... How much longer are you gonna study? I'm hungry!" Percy whined.

"A while. Why don't you go find a book on... The ocean? I'm sure you can find one with lots of pictures in the kid section," she said like she was talking to a little kid.

Percy got up grumbling something about 'mean girlfriends that don't care about his needs' Annabeth cleared her throat and he flashed a crooked grin over his shoulder and winked.

He returned a few minutes later empty handed, "None of them had enough pictures," he grumbled," I mean, they were all checked out,"

"Mmhmm, whatever you say. Tell you what, I'll be done in thirty minutes then we can go eat,"

Percy groaned and sunk deeper into the comfortable chair. He started playing with Annabeth's hair, which, obviously, was very distracting to her.

"What are you doing Seaweed Brain?" she asked impatiently.

"Playing with your hair," he said absentmindedly.

"Could you please stop?"

"Anything that'll get us out of here quicker," he mumbled. Percy began tapping his foot on the floor and Annabeth cleared her throat... Percy didn'tget the message.

"Percy if you're going to continue to distract me you might as well leave,"

"Hmm? Oh yeah sorry. Can we leave?" he asked.

"Not yet,"

...

"Can we leave now?"

"Percy..." Annabeth warned.

"Ok, ok," he threw his hands up in a surrender gesture.

...

...

"How long has it been?" Percy asked impatiently.

"Percy it's only been like eight minutes,"

...

"Ca-".

"Percy, don't you dare finish that sentence or I swear to the gods…" she let the threat hang in the air.

"I wasn't gonna," He responded in a small voice.

...

"Ok Percy, I'm all ready to go,"

"THANK THE GODS!" he whisper-yelled (we mustn't forget they were in a library!).

Annabeth put her belongings in her bag, grabbed Percy's hand, and beam to drag him out the door. "So, where are we going?" Percy asked casually.

"Anywhere. But I need to stop by the bookstore first,"

"Seriously?"
