Honesty.

That was probably the main part of a relationship. Like people always say; "You need honesty and trust to keep a relationship going." Ah yes, Rory did agree with this fact, or rule, or whatever the hell it's called, but that doesn't mean she's following it. At this very moment, Rory despised the word honesty.

Because of her guiltiness, Rory was now sitting on a couch, next to Dean, watching Lord of the Rings. Something she also despised, but hey, would you let your boyfriend pick out the movie if you were about to tell him that you kissed another guy? As Rory stared at the screen, she wondered how she could tell Dean that she kissed Jess without him being mad at her. Sighing, she knew nothing in this certain relationship could ever be that easy. Noticing the sigh, Dean opened his mouth.

"Rory, what's wrong?"

"Wha--?" Rory asked, popping back into reality.

"What's wrong?"

"Uh…" She might as well do it now.

"Uh?

"Promise me you won't get mad."

"I want to know what I have to promise not to get mad at first."

"I kissed Jess."

"WHAT?!" Dean yelled, his voice getting louder.

"I kissed Jess… At Sookie's wedding.

"How could you?!" Dean yelled with anger.

"I don't know! I'm sorry!"

"I can't handle this anymore, Rory. We're over." Dean stated before grabbing his coat and leaving the crap-shack.

She didn't know where she was going, but she was going somewhere. She was going to let her feet lead her. She had already made a few more mistakes then she should have today, but where she led herself wasn't going to be one of them.

Sticking her hands in her pocket, she finally reached her destination. Smiling, she walked over and sat down, looking around.

The Bridge.

Rory looked down into the water, smiling. She couldn't help it. She was glad to be out of the relationship with Dean. When ever she kissed him, she felt like she was kissing her brother, which disgusted her out even more then his taste in music. Being in her own world, she didn't notice when another came onto the bridge.

Jess had a busy day. Shane, festival with Shane, Shane again, and then he had to close up the diner. Since he couldn't sleep, he decided to take a walk. That walk led him here, which led him to her.

Sitting down next to Rory, Jess smirked.

"Boo." He whispered softly in her ear.

Screaming at the top of her lungs, Rory almost fell in.

"You asshole!" She said, laughing and trying to catch her breath at the same.

"You should have seen your face. It was hilarious."

"Haha. Very funny."

"Huh."

"So… Where's what's-her-face?"

"Where's Dean?" Jess asked, coldly.

"Beat's me."

"You usually know where he is."

"Why would I need to now? He broke up with me."

"Huh."

"I gotta go. Thanks for the chat."

"No problem." Jess said as Rory left him, alone, sitting at the bridge. He had some business he needed to attend to.
